Bailey Tea promotions and sales were originally introduced by the late Jagath, who began his career as a tea taster at Mackwoods and was joined by his nephew, Amal De Silva, in the formation of the company.
Jagath, who hailed from Talawakelle, possessed extensive knowledge of tea cultivation and the different varieties and flavors of tea. He ventured into this business with great passion, driving its growth and success.
Baily Tea promotions originated in Maryland in the USA and experienced significant success, garnering popularity and witnessing weekly increases in sales over a short period. Various tea varieties were introduced, with the most popular being B.O.P fannings, which quickly captured the market.
Unfortunately, with Jagath’s failing health, the tea business dwindled away. It is with much affection and gratitude, we propose to reintroduce the business in memory of the late Jagath.

OJ has developed a good network of investors, business leaders, attorneys, banks and technology partners to his network. He’s focused on impacting future generations by developing projects that impact lives, reduce poverty, and combat disease.
